Whilst I find producing tracks incredibly fun, it is also extremely challenging and time consuming. Producing a work of art that can be heard, appreciated and enjoyed by thousands of listeners is more than just the components of the song. 

Creating melodies, chord progressions and the overall track itself is the creative and fun side of the equation that most of us enjoy. The second part of the equation that I personally least enjoy is ensuring each track is expertly mixed down before Mastering.  Whilst I will fully produce the track myself, mixed down to a certain degree, I confess to being no sound engineer and admit my limitations in what is a fundamental part of the production process. 

Welcome to Brent Rix. Whilst I had a good initial foundation of music theory and knowledge to begin with, without the initial tuitions, guidance and support of Brent Rix over the past 15 months,  I would have a large folder full of great concepts but incomplete tracks.
